Aha! Moment: What sparked your sustainability journey?

In 2007 I was doing market research on cleaning products and learned about the use of bio-enzymes in the USA and Europe. I then decided to do this in South Africa as it was a market with no competitors.

Green Star: Who inspires your eco-journey?

My staff and customers who share my thoughts on the matter.

Food Wisdom: What healthy eating habits do you swear by?

Only eat healthy foods that are organically reared.

Eco-friendly Habits: What practices help you reduce, reuse, and recycle?

As an avid subscriber to sustainability, in my capacity it is then transferred into the company ethos being ISO 14001 and Global GreenTag accredited – practise what you preach.

Teaching Eco-empathy: How can we encourage kids to care for the environment?

By joining societies that believe in these practices and then volunteering my time to help educate.

Sustainable Sanctuary: How do you make your home eco-friendly?

Many elements are practised daily. We only clean with certified eco-cleaning products, and our garden is designed to save water.

Growing Green: What’s your go-to sustainable gardening technique?

The garden needs to be designed in a way that it does not waste water and only uses eco-certified organics.

Responsible Travel: How do you minimize your travel footprint?

Good route planning.

Style Sustainability: How do you make your wardrobe eco-friendlier?

If it is made from a sustainable source, then it is a good start.

A healthy inclusive family life.
